Police investigate fatal shooting in West Las Vegas
Metro Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Friday afternoon in West Las Vegas. Police were called just before 3 p.m. by someone who reported a man with a gun standing over the body of another man.

Jays hit hard, Tigers split series
It was an unhappy birthday afternoon for Marc Rzepczynski, and not much fun for the Toronto Blue Jays either. Rzepczynski, who turned 25 on Sunday, issued five walks and saw three of them score in Toronto’s 10-4 loss to the Detroit Tigers.
